Overview

Amy Abdel Baky has, soon after earning her bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing in 2003, tapped into her vast interest in art. Amy sketches and paints her thoughts about her most heart-felt topic; humanity, humility of the self. As soon as she graduated she picked up her passion In 2009. She held her first solo exhibition in downtown katamiya Cairo in 2014, the exhibitions name was "Jars of Clay". solo exhibitions 2015 named "humanity" at "Al Mashrabiya Art Gallery" 2016 named "symphony of thoughts" at "Al Mashrabiya Art Gallery" 2019 “unseen” at ZAGPICK art gallery 2021 "Devotion" at Zamalek Art Gallery Group exhibitions "Cairo opera house" in September 2015, presenting modern Christian art. "Masterpieces" in May 2021, at Zamalek Art Gallery. Amy uses the expression of the brush to communicate what she believes; “There is love for the fearful, there is joy for the mourning, and there is hope for the hopeless…”. Along with that believe , she seeks to share her interest in humanity with everyone, to widen the window of thought and expression via her numerous paintings, sketches using different mediums in her work.
